I'm not sure what the week ahead holds for contract work - I have a lot cued up, but I haven't been told start dates yet. So it's been a hard time for the comic the last couple years - In fact Alpha Shade Inc. is no more - I dissolved the corporation a couple months ago. It didn't make sense to pay all of the Corporation taxes on a business that had failed. We really thought that if we gave it our all that we would be successful, but we made less money every year and it cost more to do it. Honestly, we never made a dime off of Alpha Shade - everything that we made went right back to buying books and going to conventions etc etc. So the last couple of years AS has been on the back burner while I made money doing contracting.

The big reason that I haven't worked on it for the last year is that I've been split 50/50 on continuing it with no prospect of success - or giving it up completely. Every time I made up my mind one way, the next day I would change it back.

But in the end - we still want to tell the story.
